Akin Opatola is a Chartered Surveyor & Property Valuer, Internationally accredited Mediator, Real Estate Coach and the founder and Principal Partner at OlawaleJordan Company, a professional real estate brokerage and marketing firm. He is an alumnus of the Faculty of Environmental Sciences, Federal University of Technology, Minnaand an Associate member of the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers(NIESV). Akin started his career at Skye Bank Plc (Now Polaris Bank) and spent approximately 12 years in the Nation’s financial services sector rising to be Branch manager at a Diamond Bank Branch at Apapa, Lagos State, during which he garnered experience in strategy, product development, sales and marketing, customer service and customer relationship management. He has held several leadership positions in the profession and otherwise, including being the current Treasurer for the International Real Estate Federation (Fiabci) Nigeria and the Past President of the Rotary club of Isolo-Golden. Akin’s passion includes mentoring next generation crackerjacks to excel in the real estate profession and was a special guest facilitator in 2019 for a property valuation module at the Lagos Business School, Pan –Atlantic University and takes Brokerage and Property Management courses at the foremost Real Estate Business School at Maryland, Lagos and was a panel discussant at the GBB West Africa RED Summit at Eko Hotel in 2019. He also earned a certificate in Effective Real Estate Marketing from the National University of Singapore in conjunction with the Dubai Real Estate Institute amongst other real estate marketing courses at the prestigious Lagos Business School, Pan Atlantic University.
