The construction management team at LiveVend shared insights into their streamlined project management processes, demonstrating how the platform can effectively help with construction projects from initiation to completion. Their comprehensive understanding of the construction industry, coupled with technology and meticulous attention to detail, ensures the successful execution of projects within timeframes and budget constraints.
LiveVend's procurement specialists provided the graduates with a deeper understanding of the intricacies involved in sourcing materials and services for construction projects. The School of Estate(www.schoolofestate.com) is thrilled to have graduated its latest cohort of Real Estate Entrepreneurs from the highly acclaimed Real Estate Business Course(REBC). The 54th Stream Graduation Ceremony took place on Thursday, March 9, 2023 at Maryland, Lagos, where graduates, their networks and esteemed members of the real estate community gathered to celebrate this monumental occasion. Two days before the graduation, the participants had the opportunity to make an industry visit to Purple Lekki, a mixed-use project of Purple Real Estate (https://purple.xyz) located on a lot of over 10,000sqm on Freedom Way, Lekki Phase 1, Lagos.
The Real Estate Business Course is a comprehensive program designed to equip individuals with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in the highly competitive and dynamic real estate industry. The program covers all of the major areas of real estate, that is, Services, Investment and Development. In addition, there is a specialisation focused on positioning participants as Financial/Investment Consultants with a very clear understanding of how to help their future clients gain financial freedom investing in real estate. For services, the School’s current focus is Sales, x-raying how to Sell Like A Machine(SLAM) while participants have the benefit of advancing with Property Management, Facility Management, etc thereafter. The industry visit to "Purple Lekki" development provided the graduating participants with an opportunity to witness first-hand the practical application of some of the concepts they had learned during the Real Estate Business Course. The development, located in the prestigious Lekki phase 1 neighbourhood, is a luxury residential project that features a range of world-class amenities and state-of-the-art facilities. During the visit, the graduands had the opportunity to tour the development and learn about the various stages of the project, from conceptualization, search for site, design, approvals, finance to construction and sales. They were able to interact with industry professionals, including Engineers and Project Managers, who shared their experiences and insights on the project. Our host for the day, the Purple Lekki Project Manager himself, is worth special mention because we gave the participants a 5-star tour experience on the site; Mr. Aney Onukwo. Kudos to him and his team.
The 54th Stream Graduation Ceremony was a momentous occasion, with graduates who came from different parts of the country coming together to celebrate their achievements. The ceremony was graced by Mr. John Adeyemi, MD/CEO Peniel Metropolitan Limited and himself an alumnus of the 47th Stream of REBC as the Case Study Facilitator. Mr. Adeyemi shared his experience and journey in the real estate business world and the participants were able to ask him questions on issues that were important to them. . The highlight of his session was when he emphatically attested to the fact that his company and business has grown in leaps due to the application of the thighs he gained from the programme in just 2 years having attended in 2021.
Following the Case Study session, the graduates were presented with their certificates by the Director of Studies; Engr. ‘Debo Adejana. The formal graduation ceremony ended on the school premises shortly after and graduands then proceeded to the prestigious Marriot Hotel, GRA, Ikeja for a sumptuous lunch and further celebration.
